Our matcha is Okumidori, a cultivar known for its deep green colour and naturally sweet, smooth cup. It's grown in Mie prefecture on the Ise Bay coast, one of Japan's oldest tea regions, picked in the first spring harvest and stone-milled the traditional way.
How to make it
How to make it
Sift 1 to 2 scoops into a bowl or cup. Add a small amount of hot water at around 70 to 80°C, not boiling. Whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy, then top with steamed milk or more water to taste.
